MELBOURNE, FLA. — The education services company The Princeton Review named the online MBA program at Florida Tech’s Bisk College of Business as one of the 50 best in the nation for 2023.
Florida Tech was one of just two private universities in Florida on The Princeton Review’s 2023 Top 50 Online MBA Programs, along with Florida Southern. The ranking is based on a combination of institutional and student survey data, including career outcomes, technological infrastructure, academic rigor, cost and affordability.
“All of the business schools on our lists for 2023—those offering online MBAs as well as those offering on-campus MBAs—deliver exceptional business education programs,” said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review’s editor-in-chief. “We commend them for their excellent academics, and we recommend them highly to prospective MBA applicants.”
The mean base salary of the most recent graduating class in Florida Tech’s online MBA program was $84,700, the Review noted.
The selection of the 50 online MBA programs for 2023 and the ranking of schools for the list took into account data from The Princeton Review’s surveys in 2021-22 of administrators at 154 schools offering online MBAs programs as well as its surveys of 9,600 students enrolled in the online MBA programs. Editors weighed more than 60 data points from the surveys for the school selections and ranking tallies.
The administrator survey requests data on topics from academic offerings, faculty and career services to admission and graduation rates. The student survey asks students to rate their school’s academics, professors, administrators and career services and to report on its campus culture as well as their career plans.
“We thank the administrators at Florida Tech for participating in our extensive institutional survey for this project,” Franek added. “We are also indebted to the thousands of online MBA students from Florida Tech and from business schools across the country who completed our student surveys for this project. What students tell us about their experiences at their schools contributes substantially to our school lists, profiles, ratings and rankings.”
