Womens Business Center Offers Class in Basic Computer Security March 24

MELBOURNE, FLA. — The Florida Institute of Technology Women’s Business Center (WBC) will offer a course on basic computer security on Tuesday, March 24, from
9:30 a.m. to noon. The course, which costs $20, will be held in the Link Building, room 323 on campus.

The class is aimed at the novice computer user and will cover the fundamentals of keeping your personal computer safe and secure. Topics will include virus
scan software, firewalls, passwords and common scams to avoid.
