Womens Business Center Offers Secrets to Marketing Yourself April 16, 29

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Florida Institute of Technology’s Women’s Business Center (WBC) presents the class “Secrets to Marketing Yourself” on April 16, from 5:30
to 7:30 p.m., and April 29 from 10 a.m. to noon. The fee is $10.

The class covers how to conduct an effective job search and offers tips for how to stand out from the crowd. Topics include career exploration, effective
communications, networking and interviewing. A free résumé critique will be available.

The course will be taught by Judy Gillespie, founder of Career Avenues by Judy. Gillespie has received several writing and coaching awards and
recognitions, and is a Cover Letters for Dummies contributing author. She recently appeared on “Good Morning America” and is a member of Florida Today’s
2009 Citizens Advisory Panel and a guest columnist.

The class will be held on campus in the Link Building, Room 323.
