Womens Business Center to Offer Marketing Expertise Training
MELBOURNE, FLA.—The Florida Institute of Technology Women’s Business Center (WBC) presents help in marketing techniques in two upcoming courses.
In partnership with WCN Interactive, the WBC will present the seminar “Fundamentals of a Successful Facebook Business Page” on Feb. 11, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The workshop will be held in the Denius Student Center’s Hartley Room on campus. The cost is $20 per person and includes a boxed lunch.
The seminar will provide businesses with the tools to navigate Facebook to make and maintain a business page and techniques and tips for making the most of this social media outlet.
The WCN Interactive team of Richard and Cheri Martin will share their passion and experience on how to best use Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Blogs, Search Engine Marketing, and online public relations.
The WBC will also present the seminar “Create Your Own Marketing Message” on Feb. 22 from 5 -7 p.m. The class will be held in the Link Building, Room 323 on campus. The cost is $25 per person.
Participants will learn from a marketing expert what makes a great marketing message and how to create one. Participants’ answers to questions about their business and their competitors’ business will be the basis for creating a custom marketing message. Complimentary one-on-one counseling will follow the workshop.
Robin Cramp, a SCORE Association Counselors to America’s Small Business counselor, will be the presenter.
