X-Culture: Communicating Effectively

Hello, my name is Randy Stockman and I am a senior in Information Systems at Florida Tech. This semester for my International Business class I will be taking part in the X-Culture project. This project includes 7 students (including myself) from 5 different continents. I think that the most important thing for our team will be to establish effective communication. This is extremely important since we all come from different languages and cultural backgrounds. I think that over this semester we will learn more about each other’s cultures and learn to think with a better global mindset. So far communication has been going very well and we are getting a very high level of cooperation. I’m very excited to work on this project with my teammates, and I think we will have a lot of fun while learning a lot!
