NCSBI to Offer Brevard Public School Teachers Ability to Earn Inservice Points

– Florida Tech’s National Center for Small Business Information, with Brevard Public Schools, is now offering something special for teacher. They are
providing the ability to receive In-service Points for attending free business software and computer technology courses held on the campus of Florida Tech
in Melbourne.

Courses offered include basic, intermediate and advanced-level training in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher,
Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word and QuickBooks. In addition, introductory-level courses are offered in computers, the Internet and Web page design.

Teachers who wish to use this training for In-service Points will need to provide an “Individual In-service Request Form”, course agenda and Certificate of
Course Completion to Brevard Public Schools Staff Development.

In order to offer area teachers maximum scheduling flexibility, courses are scheduled in convenient three-hour segments during morning, afternoon, evening
and Saturday sessions.

The National Center for Small Business Information is a small business training center located on the campus of Florida Tech. Funded by the U.S. Department
