Workshop Explores What Business Owners Really Get for Their Costs

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Florida Institute of Technology’s Continuing Education office announces a new Earned Value Management (EVM) workshop, to be presented on campus Nov. 15, in partnership with Space Age Projects. This cost-management technique provides an objective measurement of project performance, indicating precisely what is gained for what has been spent.

The eight-hour workshop will provide all the essential principles necessary for making Earned Value Management an effective practice in any organization. Participants will learn versatile methodologies that can be applied to a wide variety of projects—small or large, commercial or government.

Those attending will receive a training manual, reference card and email consultation with an instructor for 30 days from the beginning of the workshop. Additionally, participants can claim up to eight education contact hours toward satisfying the PMP (project management professional) application or eight professional development units (PDUs).

For more information about this new workshop, or to register, call (321) 674-8382 or email: pdpRegistration@fit.edu.
