The Florida Tech Copy Center is a hidden gem that has been on campus for quite some time. Surprisingly many students do not know it exists. That is why this article highlights 5 things about us that will help introduce our center to you.
No. 1 WE EXIST!
The Florida Tech Copy Center is a university owned digital print center that can produce a variety of works as similarly found at Staples, Office Depot,or Kinkos. We are here to serve our students, staff, and faculty but are open to the public as well. Our center supports the vision and core values of the university, helping students prepare and achieve success through our printing services. As our customer you are very important to us, that is why we are committed to giving 5 Star Service to all who walk through our door or call our office. You will not find that anywhere else, which is why were will go above and beyond to help you succeed.
No. 2 WE ARE RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING
Did you know our office is centrally located near many of the academic buildings? You can find us in the Academic Quad in building 406 room 122. In front of the Crawford Greens, the building right behind the MAC Lab, near the Keuper Memoriam Statue. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm. We are open for lunch unless other wise noted on our Facebook page, @floridatechcopycenter.
No. 3 WE PRINT MORE THAN JUST FLYERS
The Copy Center is fully equipped to handle projects of all kinds. Our partnership with Canon has introduced state of the art equipment with the best that the print industry can deliver in high quality production digital printers. The services we offer in our center include: high volume printing in color or black and white, flyers, conference or personal posters, business cards, thesis or dissertation printing, Comb and ProClick style binding, poster mounting on foam board and more. No.4 WE OFFER SOME CONVENIENT FREE SERVICES
Everyone loves free stuff, so why not offer it in our Copy Center. Often times sensitive documents can’t just go into the trash or recycling bin. We will safely store your documents, up to 30 pages, in our document destroying bin for confidential removal. Scanning in files after signing is now made easy, we’ll scan and send to your email or stored in your thumb drive at no charge. We care about the environment and the world we live in, we encourage the recycling of your old documents. Just stop by and bring us your bulk paper and we’ll take care of it for you. We also help recycle old standard batteries (not your car battery, sorry).
No. 5 SUBMITTING A REQUEST IS SUPER EASY
Submitting your request is as easy as emailing to Copy@fit.edu. Send us your print ready file in a pdf format, provide us a description of how your would like your document processed and we will print upon your arrival. (Send 30 minutes in advanced for quick service, shorter time frame may require waiting period). You may also walk-in with your file on a thumb drive. Requests for large posters, volume prints (copies over 50 pages), or other items that may require more processing time can be taken over the phone or in person and then picked up. Our short turn around times will amaze you! Quotes can be provided upon request.
