One-Stop Mini-lectures, Book Shopping at Barnes & Noble

– Florida Tech faculty will offer poetry and mini-lectures on magnetic levitation, the weather, airport security and human-powered submarines during
Florida Tech at Barnes & Noble Night, March 13, 7-9 p.m. The event, a fundraiser for scholarships, will be at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in W.
Melbourne.

Introduced by Interim Provost Dr. Dick Enstice and emceed by Associate Professor of History Dr. Robert Taylor, the evening also includes demonstrations and
displays.

Faculty will make 15-minute presentations. In addition, published faculty will be on hand to sign and sell their books.

Anyone may support the scholarship effort by obtaining a book fair voucher prior to the event for making purchases at Barnes & Noble. Florida Tech will
receive at least 15 percent of every non-consumable purchase made that evening, or in the next few days, by customers who present the vouchers.
