Business Research with eStatement Studies

Florida Tech faculty & students now have access to the eStatement Studies database from the Risk Management Association (RMA).

This online version of Annual Statement Studies is useful for:
– comparing company performance within an industry
– business valuations
– business plan benchmarks

The content allows users to assess probability of default and critical analysis of cash flow; data is obtained directly from the financial statements of RMA member companies and is updated annually in November.

eStatement Studies contains two publications:

Financial Ratio Benchmarks
Industry Default Probabilities & Cash Flow Measures

Data can be viewed on both national and regional levels, and searching for industries may be by name or by North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code. Data can also be downloaded into Excel. Additionally the Client Comparison Worksheet is an available Excel tool that helps compare your financial data with the benchmarking data from eStatement Studies.
