Panthers Fall 3-0 Against SSC Rival Tars

WINTER PARK, Fla. (volleyball) — The Florida Tech Panthers fell 3-0 against Sunshine State Conference opponent the Rollins College Tars tonight at the Warden
Arena in the Alfond Sports Center. The game scores were 30-18, 30-20 and 30-26.

Tonight’s game pitted sister verse sister with freshman libero Melissa Reinders facing her older sister and middle blocker Christina Reinders from the
Tars, both hailing from Orlando and products of Winter Park High School. M. Reinders led Tech with 15 digs for the night; the younger of the two she is
currently leading the SSC in digs averaging 5.62 digs per game. She is also the only libero ranked from the SSC and in the South Region in the NCAA for
digs per game category at 27th in the nation.

Senior middle hitter Jenny McCoy (Titusville, Fla.) led Tech again with a .421 attack percentage notching 9 nine kills for the match. Junior setter Amanda
Boyce (Madison, Wis.) pitched in 25 assists. Boyce also helped in the back line tallying a double-double digging 12 for the night.

Junior Lindsay Foster (Titusville, Fla.) and freshman Frankie Brown (Panama City, Fla.) led the way at the net for the Crimson and Gray spikers. Both
Foster and Brown had 5 block assists while Brown added one block solo for the night.

The Panthers are now 2-13 on the season and 0-3 in the SSC, while Rollins advances to 10-4 overall and 3-1 in the conference. Tech will host #5 ranked
Florida Southern at 4:00 p.m. in another Sunshine State Conference match-up at the Clemente Center. To listen live or follow via live stats check out the
