Florida Tech to Hold Software Testing Management Conference

– Florida Tech’s Center for Software Testing Education & Research and the Association for Software Testing present the Ninth Software Test Managers
Roundtable on May 22-23 at Florida Tech. The topic is “Working Effectively with Outsourcing.”

A participatory workshop, the conference will focus on the development of ideas and solutions to be used by working test managers when a software project
is outsourced. Facilitators will be Scott Barber, system test engineer at AuthenTec, Inc., of Melbourne; James Bach, principal consultant with Satisfice,
Inc., a software quality analysis firm in Front Royal, Va.; and Dr. Cem Kaner, Florida Tech professor of computer science and director of Florida Tech’s
Center for Software Testing Education.

There is no fee to attend. Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided to participants at no charge. A discounted room rate has been arranged at the
Courtyard by Marriott in Melbourne for those who are attending from out of town.
