Christina Lind Named MVP for October

Christina Lind, insurance compliance manager and contract specialist, was named Most Valuable Panther for October 2024.

In announcing the award, the Office of Human Resources said:

“Originally hired as an admin for the President’s Office, Christina Lind quickly found her niche in compliance training and has navigated the expansion and reorganization with grace and gusto, wearing multiple hats to get the job done. From topics of compliance as it relates to workers compensation; to the liability process; to safety-related items; to the university’s online training platform, Christina has been and continues to be ever-evolving her talents, skills and knowledge on a variety of subjects, proving to be a vital resource for Florida Tech.

Christina’s relentless contribution to Florida Tech’s online training platform has been essential. She managed the LMS training transition from VIVID to HSI, assisting personnel with navigating the system, report building and auditing for accuracy. Her data input has been fundamental to aiding many departments throughout the university to remain compliant with regulatory standards without adding to their workload.

A team player, Christina is always looking for feedback and suggestions to benchmarking processes for continuous improvements. She routinely invites interdepartmental partnerships and actively seeks input from subject matter experts throughout the university to elevate community safety.

Christina’s commitment embodies the very professionalism, success and integrity that Florida Tech strives to foster. For these reasons and more, Christina Lind is our Most Valuable Panther.”
