Florida Tech Offers Free Class on How to Start a Home-Based Business March 26

MELBOURNE, FLA. — The Florida Institute of Technology Women’s Business Center (WBC) will offer the U.S. Small Business Administration’s class for individuals
interested in starting a home-based business on Thursday, March 26 from 10 a.m. to noon on campus in the Link Building, Room 323. There is no charge for
the course.

The class will cover how to get started, types of business ownership, license requirements, tax and regulatory considerations, business plans, and
available resources. The instructor is Tom Gallman, South Florida District senior area manager of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
