Celebrating the Journey: Florida Tech’s African American Read-In

2016 marked Florida Tech’s first African American Read-In, and the event was a huge success! A recording of the event is available below and on our YouTube channel.

Spring break is upon us, and that means break hours! Evans Library will be open for the following hours during spring break:

CLOSED: Saturday, March 5 and Sunday, March 6
OPEN: Monday, March 7 – Friday, March 11, 9am – 5pm
CLOSED: Saturday, March 12
OPEN: Sunday, March 13, 10am – midnight

General Announcements

Winners have been announced for our photography contest, Imagining the World:

  • 1st place: Fisherman by Efram Goldberg
  • 2nd place: After the Hung by Ahmed Hassan Alfadala
  • 3rd place: Children of Ghana by Katherine Kavanaugh
  • Honorable mention: Kids of Kabul by James Baucom

Imagining the World will be on display on the first floor through the end of the semester.
