Finding Fiction: Florida Tech Students can use Brevard Public Libraries

Are you looking for the latest best-seller or something from your favorite author? You can find it at Brevard Public Libraries. The public library system offers library cards to Florida Tech students that allow you to check out books from the physical collection, have books sent to the closest branch at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library, or access OverDrive, Brevard County’s eBook collection. Download books to your Kindle, iPad, or other device; they disappear when the checkout period expires, so there is no worry about late fees. Be sure to get a public library card before you try accessing OverDrive.

Additionally, Evans Library on campus has some “Give a Book/Take a Book” shelves at the entrance to the library. These books are free for the taking. You do not have to check them out or bring them back. If you have a book you’d like to leave here for others to read, feel free to do so.
