See Florida in Art and Writing at Florida Tech Exhibit

– From March through April, Florida Tech’s Evans Library will host “Florida, Florida, Florida Art and Writing Exhibit: Where the Visual Arts Meets the
Written Word.” The exhibit has traveled throughout Florida since late 2002 and offers local fine arts and poetry.

Florida author Patrick Smith called it “one of the most exciting and worthwhile projects ever assembled in this state.”

This juried exhibit includes items from members of the Strawbridge Art League, the Scribblers of Brevard, the Space Coast Writers’ Guild and the cape
Canaveral Branch of the National League of American Pen Women. Among the judges was Dr. Robert A. Taylor, Florida Tech associate professor of humanities
and communication.

Visitors may see “Florida, Florida, Florida,” which is on the first and second floors of the library, during regular library hours. For more information,

The 68,500-square-foot library serves the campus and community with resources such as a microcomputer center, teaching auditorium, and learning pavilion.
