Premiere of Real Foods Real Kitchens Series March 10 at Foosaner Art Museum

Creator Craig Chapman Taking His Show International

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Foosaner Art Museum will host an exclusive screening of the first episode of Real Foods Real Kitchens International, the latest series exploring people, culture and cuisine from Brevard County native Craig Chapman.

The free public event, which features a post-screening discussion with Chapman, is from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at the museum’s Harris Community Auditorium. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Beer, wine, and sangria will be available for purchase.

“This will be the first full viewing of an episode from what I am hoping will be an entirely new series of Real Food Real Kitchens episodes from countries around the world,” said Chapman.

For the first episode, the show traveled to Cuba and sat down with a family to get an intimate look at and taste of traditional Cuban food and drink. This event is held in conjunction with the exhibition Caminos Transitados / Paths Taken: A Retrospective of Francisco “Gordillo” Arredondo Baba Oñi, on view through March 13.

Created by Chapman, the Real Foods Real Kitchens series tells the story of a person, his or her family and culture, and how food creates a bond that connects these things. His inaugural 13-episode season aired on Hulu in 2012 and later aired on PBS.
