Graduate Certificate Program in Business Management Available to CECOM and ATEC Staff and Supervisors

MELBOURNE, FLA.—The Graduate Certificate Program in Business Management from Florida Institute of Technology started with two full cohorts of staff and supervisors from the U.S. Army Communications-Electronic Command (CECOM) and the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC). The attendees all hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and were nominated by their organization.

The requirements of 15 credit hours, may be completed in one year, with two classes a term. Classes will meet once a week at the Florida Tech Department of Extended Studies Site at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md.

The program, which combines classroom and online delivery, focuses on developing advanced mission-oriented skills with a view toward valuing a liberal arts and sciences education. Those attending the program may expect to develop and demonstrate the critical core competencies of critical thinking, oral and written communications, as well as advanced discipline-specific competencies.
