Assistant Director for Business Operations Kim Kressler has been named Most Valuable Panther for April 2026.
In announcing the award, the Office of Human Resources said:
Kim Kressler is an unsung hero of campus dining, managing multiple systems to keep our students’ mobile credentials working, balancing multiple budgets and building future infrastructure and procedures for growth.
Her knowledge of systems across campus has positioned Kim as a go-to resource for flight instruction deposits, meal plan management and university access systems.
Kim’s commitment to quality is demonstrated through her rock-solid processes and procedures. She is organized and efficient and utilizes resources. Projects are always completed on time, full of valuable details and with the level of accuracy our department requires.
Upon returning for Spring semester, the software for campus deposits was down, not allowing students, staff or faculty the ability to add funds to their accounts and affecting flight instruction, meal plans and more. Kim worked diligently for weeks with software customer service and IT to understand the problem and create a work-around and ultimately solve the issue. She even went a step further and spent hours at the cashier stand during this time and helped customers in person understand the work-around process and get their deposits made. That is dedication to service and makes her our “KiMVP”!
