Florida Tech and the Office of Facilities Operations are pleased to announce that Lee Myers has been hired as associate vice president of facilities. He will start March 17. His office will be in the Facilities Operations/Mail & Shipping building 540MIL/118 and his email will be lmyers@fit.edu.
Most recently, Myers worked as director of campus services in the Department of Facilities & Partner Management at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Over his eight years there, he provided essential guidance and leadership for project management, facility housing maintenance, strategic planning, department initiative and logistics. Under his direction, the school ranked in the top 50 for Best College Food in America for 2025 from Niche.com, its highest ranking ever in dining and housing.
Prior to that, he was a regional operations and facilities manager at Eclipse Advantage, a workforce solutions provider in Melbourne, where he was recognized for creating roadmaps, improving quality and analyzing performance to ensure alignment with soft- and long-term objectives.
Myers has an MBA from Saint Leo University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Iowa State University.
He is currently the regional director representing Texas on the Board of Directors for the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS).
