Inaugural Northrop Grumman Prize Presented at Florida Tech

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Orbital Innovation—A team pioneering satellite design won the inaugural “Best in Show” prize from Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC) during Florida Institute of Technology’s recent Northrop Grumman Engineering and Science Student Design Showcase held at the Charles and Ruth Clemente Center.

For more than four decades, Florida Tech engineering and science students have been required to complete a hands-on, detailed senior project before graduation. Now, a $1 million endowment gift from Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) made earlier this year is underwriting the students’ work.
