For me, one of life’s little pleasures is the serendipitous learning opportunity, a chance to quickly learn something about a topic with which you may have little familiarity.  The U.S. National Archives’ Document of the Day website , which can be conveniently delivered to you each day via an RSS feed, provides just such opportunities.

Drawn from the endless variety of the National Archives’ collection, each day’s selection can reflect virtually any aspect of American history and culture from the founding of the nation to the present day.  In the event that you find your curiosity piqued, the website also provides links to related material in the Archives’ collection.
