Women’s Soccer to Host NCAA Regional Championships, National Quarterfinals

MELBOURNE, FLA. — The Florida Tech women’s soccer team will be hosting the South Regional Championship, the Southeast Regional Championship, and the national quarterfinal round of the 2023 NCAA DII Women’s Soccer Championship on Dec. 1-3 at Rick Stottler Field.
 
The Panthers earned hosting rights after defeating Rollins, 3-0, in the first round of the tournament and Lee, 2-1, in the second round.
 
Rick Stottler Field will be the host site for both the Southeast Regional Championship and the South Regional Championship on Friday, Dec. 1.
 
Lenoir-Rhyne earned the top seed in the Southeast Region and will take on second-seeded Catawba. Kickoff for the Southeast Regional Championship is scheduled for 3 p.m.
 
Tech earned the third seed in the South Region and will face a familiar opponent in fifth-seeded Nova Southeastern. Kickoff for the South Regional Championship will take place at 6 p.m.
 
Admission will be $10 for adults and $5 for students with IDs, senior citizens, and children ages 2-12. Children under the age of two shall be admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. The first 200 Florida Tech students will be admitted free of charge.
 
The winner of each regional championship will battle on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 3 p.m. in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament. The winner of the quarterfinal round will advance to the NCAA DII Women’s Soccer Final Four in Matthews, N.C. which will take place on Dec. 7-9.
