Florida Tech Promotes Seven Faculty Members

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Florida Institute of Technology has promoted one faculty member to the position of professor and six to associate professor. Faculty promotions occur annually, in March or April.

Promoted to the position of professor is Richard Griffith, psychology.

Promoted to the position of associate professor are William Allen, computer science; Sen Chiao, marine and environmental systems; Patrick Converse, psychology; Brian Lail, electrical and computer engineering; Korhan Oyman, aeronautics; and Niescja Turner, physics and space sciences.
