Lifelong Scholar Society’s First Lecture: What Climate Change Means for Floridians, Sept. 10

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Is Florida sinking? What’s happening to Florida’s climate and sea levels as a result of global warming is important for Floridians to know about. 

Florida Institute of Technology Professor George Maul will explore the causes of these changes and look at trends and forecasts for future climate and sea levels in the Florida Tech Lifelong Scholar Society presentation, “Grab Your Swim Suit: What Global Climate Change Means for Florida,” Sept. 10 at 4 p.m.
The presentation will be at the Harris Community Auditorium (next door to the Foosaner Art Museum) in the Eau Gallie Arts District of Melbourne.
General admission is $20, or $15 with coupon code FALL05. The six-lecture series may be purchased in its entirety for $90.
