Titusville Couple Gives to Florida Tech Endowment

– Ambika Palaniyandi and Ravindran Palaniyandi, M.D., an affiliate with Space Coast Cardiology, recently pledged $100,000 to Florida Tech’s endowment for a
named scholarship. The couple has already made two $25,000 installments on the pledge. The Palaniyandis were introduced to Dr. Thomas Fox, Florida Tech
senior vice president of Advancement, by Dr. Kunal Mitra, a Department of Mechanical and
Space Engineering
faculty member.

“We are thrilled to know this generous couple and grateful that a new scholarship fund will be available to help worthy students,” said Fox. Mrs.
Palaniyandi, noting her interest in supporting scholarships, said, “We make our living in this community and our philosophy is that education is the best
way to give back to our community.”
