Florida Tech’s Delta Mu Delta to Induct and Honor

– The Florida Tech School of Management‘s Epsilon Eta Chapter of Delta Mu Delta will induct 14 undergraduate and graduate
students at the 17 th Annual Banquet and Induction Ceremony on Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. The event will be held in the Hartley Room, Denius Student Center , on
campus. Delta Mu Delta is the national honor society in business administration.

Two businesspeople will be named honorary inductees at the ceremony. They are Alan Doshier, sector vice president, Airborne Ground Surveillance and Battle
Management Systems, Northrop Grumman, and Yasuji Yasuharu Wakura, chief executive officer, Asahi Group and vice president of Asahi Light Metal Industry Co.
Inc. He is also Florida Tech’s fall Distinguished Lecturer at noon that day.

Delta Mu Delta was founded as a national organization in 1913 to provide recognition to outstanding students of business administration. Today there are
more than 180 chapters of the society across the country. Although almost 300,000 students receive bachelor’s or master’s degrees in business each year,
only about 5,000 students are elected to membership in the society.
