Scott Center’s Evening of Hope Set for March 4, 2023; Sponsorships Available

Autism Treatment Center's Annual Fundraiser Coming to Sprengergarten

MELBOURNE, FLA. — The 15th annual Evening of Hope to benefit The Scott Center for Autism Treatment at Florida Tech is set for Saturday, March 4, 2023, at one of the Space Coast’s newest event venues, Sprengergarten in Melbourne.

The event, presented by the Albert E. and Birdie W. Einstein Foundation, will honor Scott Center founders Ed and Cheryl Scott, who funded the Scott Center on behalf of their son Reece, in partnership with then-U.S. Rep. Dave Weldon. The evening, featuring the theme “WISH You Could See the World Through Their Eyes,” will spotlight the Center’s impact on the community and the generous donors who have supported this cause. It will feature gourmet food, an open bar, entertainment, mystery box reveals, a live auction and more.

The funding raised at Evening of Hope is vital to the success of the renowned Scott Center. A registered 501(c)3 non-profit healthcare clinic, the Center utilizes evidence-based research and best practices in all its services. In line with its three-fold mission of service, training and research, the Center’s community support also helps provide training and supervision of graduate students enrolled in Florida Tech’s Applied Behavioral Analysis doctoral and master’s programs.

Sponsorships start at $500. A full 100% of event and sponsorship revenue will go to the Scott Center to advance its mission and continue to improve the lives of children in the community with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and related disabilities.

Artist Derek Gores has started a collaboration with Scott Center children and supporters in creating a sequel piece to his 2009 “Blowing Bubbles,” which was donated to the Center by Ruben and Rita Moreno. The new artwork will be auctioned off at Evening of Hope.

Organizations and individuals interested in sponsorship and/or wanting to donate to the live auction or mystery boxes with merchandise, experiences, gift certificates or anything else should contact Jessica Cartagena Assam at or visit
