There’s a new job search resource available for students and alumni: Panther Careers.
Career Services launched the platform, powered by Symplicity, in August. It replaces Handshake and is exclusive to Florida Tech, serving as the main job resource database for full-time and part-time professional jobs, as well as internships and co-ops.
“The Symplicity system gives us a better employer management system and better controls over the content and who is posting jobs,” said Career Services Director Dona Gaynor. “It will also allow us to conduct better outreach to employers to encourage them to post jobs and recruit our students.”
All opportunities and events posted are targeted to students and alumni. Users can also use the platform to sign up for employer events and career fairs and schedule appointments with Career Services advisors.
Panther Careers will allow Career Services to offer more personalized and customized service to both students and employers. Handshake, however, is still available to use as a job search tool.
