Promise Brevard: A Really Remarkable, Gratifying and Memorable Experience.

At first when the class was offered the opportunity to work on a project to help the local charity Promise Inc. out, I had no idea what this would have entailed. But keeping an open mind and also being willing to help out in any way I could of, I decided to accept the challenge. As class progressed and we got to meet Betsy, she told us all about her dream and how we could help her by getting votes. She visited class some more and everything all started to glue together. We divided the class up into groups, with some doing advertising, reservations and others spreading the word around on the social media networks. So after a couple weeks of hard work, we were excited to know that Promise Inc. had made it on the leaderboard and was in the running, eligible for a grant from Chase bank. The day had ended and we had accomplished everything that we had set out to do. This was truly a really remarkable, gratifying and memorable experience.
