Tech Pitcher Erik Bua Earns Shutout against Concordia 10-0

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Panthers starting junior pitcher Erik Bua (Port Richey, Fla.) earned his
third win in his forth appearance pitching seven strong innings in the 10-0 outing over the Clippers of Concordia College.

Tech’s offensive production at the plate started early in the first and second inning as they went to take a 2-0 lead through two innings and then went
quite through the third and forth. In the fifth, Sam Palace (Clarkston, Mich.) who went 4 for 5 from the plate drove in the third run of a two out double
and then Palace crossed the plate by a base hit by Danny Sutton (Land O’Lakes, Fla.) gapping to a 4-0 lead. Without cooling off, the Panthers scored five
more runs in the sixth as they batted around in the lineup and then pushed one more run in the seventh to mark their final run of the game marking 10.

Every Tech batter reached the bases, scored a run, or knocked in a run against the Clippers on the afternoon with Palace leading the way with four hits,
two RBI, and scoring one run. Trevor Hearl (Cape Coral, Fla.) had three hits crossing the plate once while Eamonn Powers (Staten Island, NY) had two hits,
one RBI, and scored once. Brendan Twomey (Boca Raton, Fla.), Kevin Villa (Miami, Fla.), Sutton and Eric Trillas (Hialeah, Fla.) each had a hit apiece. Nick
Brenna (Detroit, Mich.), Twomey, Powers, and Trillas all had one RBI apiece with Twomey, Villa scoring twice and Brennan, Powers, Palace, Trillas, Hearl,
