Sheriff to address Ethics Breakfast

Brevard County Sheriff Jack Parker will be the keynote speaker at the fall Ethics Breakfast on Nov. 18, 2005, at 7:30 a.m. in the Hartley Room on the
second floor of the Denius Student Center. The breakfast seminar is sponsored by the Center for Business Ethics of the College of Business and is free to

leaders in law enforcement in Brevard County; the impact of the media on the ethical climate for law enforcement; ethical situations and solutions with
management and leadership challenges; and his personal experiences dealing with ethical situations.

Sheriff Parker, who graduated from Cocoa Beach High School, has a bachelor’s degree in public administration from the University of Central Florida. He
worked in the Brevard County sheriff’s office from 1983 to 1997 and was the Brevard County public safety director from 1997 to 2004, when he was elected
sheriff. Membership in the College of Business Center for Business Ethics is $25 per year. The objective of the center is to provide a forum for exploring
and furthering ethical practices in organizations; to support and participate in ethics-related education opportunities such as conferences, guest speaker
appearances, publishing written materials and high school ethics competitions; and to continually promote the importance of ethical behavior in society
