Florida Tech Lecturer Offers Confessions of a Night Librarian & Other Embarrassments’

– As part of Florida Tech’s Humanities Lecture Series, Dr. Ron McFarland will read from “Confessions of a Night Librarian & Other Embarrassments,” his
most recent book, on Oct. 13 at 7 p.m.

McFarland, an author and professor of English at the University of Idaho in Moscow, grew up in Central Florida and graduated from Cocoa High School in
1960. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from Florida State University and earned a doctoral degree from the University of Illinois in
Urbana. He has published more than a dozen books of poetry, essays and fiction, as well as numerous journal articles, stories and poems.

The presentation, open and free to the public, will be on campus in the Denius Student Center’s Hartley Room.
