Florida Tech Psychological Services Offers Free Workshops Sept. 28, Oct. 26

MELBOURNE, FLA.—The Scott Center Psychological Services (SCPS) at Florida Institute of Technology will offer two free community education workshops in the fall semester.

The Sept. 28 workshop will be “Facebook and Texting: What Parents Need to Know” and the Oct. 26 workshop will be “Bullying: Warning Signs, Effects and Interventions.” Both workshops will be held at the Scott Center’s seminar room, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The SCPS is a psychological services facility operated by Florida Tech’s School of Psychology. The purpose of SCPS is to provide a full range of psychological services to the greater South Brevard community. The staff is comprised of graduate students in the clinical psychology doctoral program. Eachclinician is supervised by a licensed clinical psychologist of the faculty at Florida Tech.
