Origami at Evans Library

When you think of origami, your mind probably conjures images of folded paper animals, right? Did you know that modern origami encompasses so much more?

This semester, Evans Library is featuring the origami of Florida Tech students and staff. You’ll find traditional origami designs on display alongside more intricate designs, like those pictured above.

Join us on Thursday, March 26 at 6:00 PM for a special talk on modern origami by Ian Koss, and again on Friday, March 27 at 5:30 PM for an open origami folding hour. Both events are free and open to all.

In the meantime, learn more about the Peace Crane Project, and stop by the folding table in our lobby to help us create 1000 paper cranes!
