Florida Tech Astronomy Lecture Explores Edge of Universe

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Florida Tech’s Astronomy and Astrophysics Public Lecture Series will present “An Evening at the Edge of the Universe” on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m.
The presentation, free to the community, will be in the F.W. Olin Engineering Complex auditorium, Room EC118.
The lecturer is Dr. James Webb of the Florida International University Department of Physics. Webb has given over 75 public lectures on a variety of topics
all over the Eastern United States. He will take you on a journey to the very edges of the visible universe and explain what we know about the exotic
objects that reside there.
There will be stargazing afterward, on the rooftop of the Olin Physical Sciences Building, weather-permitting.
