Florida Tech Lecture Digs into the “Stellar Graveyard”

– Florida Tech’s Astronomy and Astrophysics Public Lecture Series will present, “Digging in the Stellar Graveyard: How White Dwarf Stars Yield the Age and
Star-Formation History of the Galaxy,” on April 15 at 8 p.m. The presentation, free to the community, will be in the Life Sciences Building, Room LSB-130.

The lecturer is Dr. Terry Oswalt, Florida Tech professor of physics and space sciences. There will be stargazing
afterward, on the rooftop of the Olin Physical Sciences Building, weather-permitting.
