Holiday Drives Net Food, Blankets

Two efforts in November brought out the holiday spirit on campus and brought in warmth and food for those in need.

In the first annual blanket drive for the homeless 23 blankets, 21 coats and 41 sweaters were among the items donated by the campus community to Daily Bread of Melbourne. The drive was sponsored by the Florida Tech Administrative Computing staff and Business and Retail Operations.

Business and Retail Operations also conducted a food drive and collected 2,000 pounds of food.
