U.S. News Recognizes Florida Tech Online Programs in 2023 Rankings

Annual Look at the Nation’s Best Online Education

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Multiple online programs at Florida Tech have been recognized in the 2023 Best Online Programs ranking from U.S. News and World Report.

The respected publication assessed schools in this ranking based on a variety of objective factors, such as student engagement, faculty credentials and services and technologies.

Among Florida Tech’s rankings, the school was 129th overall in Best Online Bachelors Programs out of nearly 400 ranked programs.

“Highly ranked programs have strong traditional academic foundations based on student-instructor access, graduation rates and instructor credentials,” the magazine reported. “They also excel at educating distance learners while offering robust career and financial support.”

Florida Tech fared well in several specific areas, as well:

  • 28th for online bachelor’s degree in psychology
  • 48th for online master’s in information technology
  • 66th online bachelor’s programs – business
  • 68th online bachelor’s programs for veterans

Designed for individuals looking to complete or further their education, this year’s edition evaluated more than 1,800 online bachelor’s and master’s degree programs for the magazine’s Best Online Programs ranking. The rankings only include degree-granting programs that are offered primarily online by regionally accredited institutions.

Florida Tech has been garnering accolades for its online programming recently. In early January, OnlineMastersDegrees.org rated Florida Tech’s online programs in project management, finance and accounting as the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 5 programs, respectively, in the nation.
