Boyce Named SSC Player of the Week

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference (SSC) announced today that Amanda Boyce has been named the SSC defensive volleyball player
of the week. Boyce helped the Panthers remain undefeated (11-0) with five wins last week.  She averaged 3.6 digs over 15 games and played a key role
in limiting Tech’s opponents to a 0.93 hitting percentage.  Boyce and the Panther defense held three opponents below .100 attack percentages. 
She notched double-figure digs in three matches and also tallied four blocks on the week.

Tech volleyball has never started a season with 11 straight wins. The 1998 and 1995 squads are the next closest with six wins before their first losses.
Boyce and the rest of the Panther defense is credited with this success, and they hope it continues into SSC play which starts this Wednesday (Sept. 12) at
Nova Southeastern.
