Worldwide Conference to Bring Scientists from 50 Countries to Florida Tech
– Almost 300 scientists from over 50 countries will attend the Conference on Differential and Difference Equations and Applications at Florida Tech, Aug.
1-5. The conference is designed to promote cooperation among the various disciplines of the field of mathematics encompassing differential and difference
equations. Participants, from some of the world’s major universities and institutes, are specially invited to attend.
Florida Tech’s Department of Mathematical Sciences is hosting the conference, under the leadership of Dr. Ravi P. Agarwal, professor of mathematical
sciences. Other organizers are faculty members, Dr. Tariel Kiguradze, Dr. Kanishka Perera and Dr. Gnana Bhaskar Tenali.
Florida Tech offers a bachelor’s degree in mathematical sciences; bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in applied mathematics; and master’s and
doctoral degrees in operations research.
