The nationally renowned trio featuring trumpet, trombone and piano will bring its traditional classical music and jazz inspired arrangements of standards and popular tunes.

The Paris Conservatory-trained singer will conclude her tenure as Florida Tech's Artist in Residence with the free public performance at 7 p.m. at Gleason Performing Arts Center.

Lestang will present "Discovering Opera" on March 18 at Evans Library. On March 25, she will perform with pianist Romain Louveau at Gleason Performing Arts Center.

Lestang completed her master’s degree in 2015 at the prestigious Paris Conservatory. She is Florida Tech’s third Artist in Residence from Paris, following pianist Paul Anquez last year and percussionist Rémi Durupt in 2014.

The internationally known vibraphonist and pianist, who was named Florida Tech’s Music Artist in Residence in January 2014, will lead his quartet and special guest vocalist Clint Holmes in the concert.

After a week of intensive training and practice, 15 of the Space Coast’s most musically inclined youngsters will showcase the skills they learned starting at 7 p.m. at Gleason Performing Arts Center on the Florida Tech campus in Melbourne.

Concluding his year-long residency at Florida Tech, pianist and composer Paul Anquez will be joined by five Florida Tech student ensembles: Concert Choir, Concert Band, String Orchestra, Jazz Big Band and String Quintet.

At 7 p.m. Thursday, April 2, Anquez and special guest Isabel Sörling will give a free public concert at Florida Tech’s outdoor Panthereum to celebrate the conclusion of their recording.

Kicking off the second year of his residency at Florida Institute of Technology, internationally renowned vibraphonist and pianist Christian Tamburr and his quintet will hold a free public concert with special guests Charenee Wade and Terreon Gully at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 25 at Gleason Performing Arts Center on campus.
