FICPA Scholarships

Two School of Management students, Priscilla Arteaga and Megh Shah, have been awarded scholarships from the Florida Institute of CPAs Educational
Foundation, Inc. (FICPA) Ms. Arteaga and Mr. Shah, both accounting majors, were recommended by the faculty committee at Florida Tech to receive the
$1,250.00 scholarships for the 2004 fall semester. The awards will be presented during a FICPA Brevard Chapter meeting in the fall. “The board of trustees
carefully reviewed your qualifications and is proud of the record you have established thus far,” FICPA foundation president Martin M. Prague said in a
letter to Ms. Arteaga and Mr. Shah. “We encourage you to continue your career in the field of accounting and hope you will explore the benefits of becoming
a Certified Public Accountant.”
