Associate professor John R. Patton, D.B.A., is participating in the fourth annual International Research Seminar at the University of North Florida in
Jacksonville on February 13. Dr. Patton will be a discussant during the session entitled Cross-Border Cooperation and Sanctions. His topic will be
international mergers and acquisitions in the oil and gas industry. Dr. Patton’s interests are international business, corporate strategy and marketing.
The seminar is co-sponsored by the School of Management and the Center for Europe, both at Warsaw University, and the Coggin College of Business at the
University of North Florida. Other topics to be discussed are the development of business degree programs abroad; trust, competition and matchmaking
international alliances; and Bush, Castro and the embargo.
