Panthers Defeated by Lynn 3-to-0 in SSC Volleyball Action

BOCA RATON, Fla. (volleyball) — The Florida Tech Panthers traveled to Sunshine State Conference opponent Lynn University this evening hoping to come home
with their first conference win falling shy in three games at the de Hoernle Center. The game scores were 30-22, 30-22 and 30-26 for the tough loss.
Earlier this season Tech had taken Lynn to five sets at home.

Senior outside hitter Megan Konopnicki (Plano, Texas) led her team in with nine kills. Konopnicki also tallied seven digs. Senior jenny McCoy (Titusville,
Fla.) and junior Jessie Metzger (Oxford, Conn.) each added five kills with McCoy notching three blocks and Metzger two blocks on the night.

Junior Amanda Boyce (Madison, Wis.) put up another double double chipping in 22 assists and ten digs. Freshman Libero Melissa Reinders (Orlando, Fla.) led
her team defensively snagging 18 digs.

The Panthers are now 2-21 on the season and 0-10 in the SSC. They will host Armstrong Atlantic on Saturday, October 14 at 4:00 p.m. during Homecoming.
