Professor Co-Authors Book on Non-directional Trading

ALEXANDRIA, VA.—Dr. Kermit Zieg Jr., a professor of finance and investments at Florida Institute of Technology’s National Capital Region (NCR) campus in Alexandria, Va., is co-author of the new book, The Complete Guide to Non-Directional Trading. It is published by Traders Press Inc.

The premise of this book is that one no longer needs to predict the direction of future price movement to make money. “An important point to note,” writes Edward D. Dobson, president of Traders Press, “is that the authors of this book ‘walk the walk’. . . it is not written by academic theorists, but by actual practitioners of the principles of which they write.”

Zieg wrote the 216-page soft cover book with Heinrich A. Weber, securities consultant, and partner and risk manager of the firm DeTraCo. Weber resides in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Florida Institute of Technology’s NCR campus conducts numerous evening graduate-level and graduate certificate programs in the greater Washington, D.C. area. Based in Alexandria, branches also offer classes at the Quantico Marine Corps Base and Fort Detrick, Md.
