weVENTURE Seeks Nominations for 2024 Women Who Rock Awards
March 19 Event to Honor Women’s History Month
MELBOURNE, FLA. — weVENTURE Women’s Business Center (WBC) at Florida Tech’s Bisk College of Business is seeking nominations for the 2024 Women Who Rock Awards. The winners will be recognized at a luncheon Wednesday, March 19, at the Hilton Rialto in Melbourne.
Clevens Face and Body Specialists in Melbourne is the presenting sponsor for the 2024 awards and is partnering with weVENTURE WBC to help honor outstanding women making an impact on the Space Coast.
“The Women Who Rock Awards are a wonderful way to celebrate amazing women in our community who are leading both through the work they do and by the example they set for others,” said Ross A. Clevens, MD, FACS, facial plastic surgeon and founder of Clevens Face and Body Specialists. “We are excited to continue to partner with weVENTURE WBC on this beloved community event in honor of Women’s History Month.”
Women may be nominated by their peers and/or the general public across six categories: Female Small Business Owner of the Year, Executive of the Year, Excellence in Mentorship, Women Trending in Tech, Excellence in Caregiving and Zonta Yellow Rose for Excellence in Community.
Nominations will be accepted through Feb. 9. Winners will be announced at the award luncheon.
“We celebrate and promote the nominees all month leading up to the luncheon, as our goal is to elevate the profile of local female leaders making history today,” weVENTURE Executive Director Kathryn Rudloff noted.
