MELBOURNE, FLA. — Florida Tech’s online Bachelor of Arts in aviation management was highlighted as one of TechGuide’s best online bachelor’s in aviation management programs in 2024.
The university placed eighth out of 19 institutions and was ranked the highest of four Florida-based programs. The recognition emphasizes the program’s commitment to academic excellence and educational opportunities.
TechGuide’s evaluation considers tuition, student-to-faculty ratio, admission and graduation rates and alumni success using data from sources such as the National Center for Education Statistics. The chosen programs were vetted for rigorous curricula, expert faculty with real-world aviation experience and the use of cutting-edge technology to simulate aviation management scenarios, TechGuide reported.
Florida Tech’s aviation management B.A. gives students a broad knowledge base of the field, from modern aviation technology to best practices in business. Students develop an overall perspective on airport management, airport development and air transportation management. They also create an airline business plan that balances factors affecting airspace, airfield capacity and the selection of facilities and equipment necessary to run an aviation maintenance operation.
