Free Jazz at Florida Tech’s Panthereum Feb. 28

MELBOURNE, FLA—WFIT 89.5 FM, the City of Melbourne and Florida Institute of Technology present Jazz at the Panthereum Sunday, Feb. 28, from 3 to 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy an afternoon of free jazz performed by the Dave Dunscombe Trio. Joining drummer Dunscombe will be Mark Hubrouck on keys and Rabbitt Simmons on upright bass.

Dunscombe, known for his knowledge of tunes, plays every Friday in the gazebo at Cocoa Village. Hubrouck is the current piano player at the Heidelberg Restaurant in Cocoa Beach and Simmons, the house bassist at Heidi’s Jazz Club in Cocoa Beach, is a former military jazz band member. All three play private and public gigs.

Come for an afternoon of jazz played by jazz masters. Musicians are invited to sit in after the first set.
